The world’s favourite spy, renowned for his impeccable taste, is a style icon whatever the occasion. For our latest collaboration with EON Productions, the company behind the popular film franchise, we returned to the 007 archive to rework more of Bond’s most unforgettable looks.

Focusing on some of our hero fabrics, including linen and silk-cotton blends, come on a journey with us as we revisit the iconic movie moments that inspired the collection.

1962 - DR. NO

Sean Connery slips effortlessly into the role as he debuts as the iconic spy in Dr. No (1962), venturing to Jamaica where he encounters the mysterious Dr. No.

Riviera Tailored Fit Trousers

To honour one of the most famous scenes in the film, we recreated the Riviera Blue trousers Bond wears when he meets Honey Ryder on Crab Key Beach. The washed Portuguese cotton creates an antiqued finish while our signature side fasteners add the O .B touch. Now to find a desert island to debut them on…

1965 - THUNDERBALL

Sean Connery returns in Thunderball (1965), where Bond heads to the Bahamas to find two atomic bombs stolen by SPECTRE.

Gingham Capri Collar Shirt

Inspired by Bond’s helicopter journey in Thunderball, the blue and white gingham pattern with a Capri collar stay true to the original style. However, the updated white towelling lining ensures the shirt is perfect for the beach or the bar.

Linen Capri Collar Shirt

We also turned our attention to the navy linen shirt Bond wears in the Bahamas. Though casual in its original setting, the retro-inspired Capri collar gives the shirt an air of elegance. Italian-woven linen ensures breathability and comfort even on the warmest of days. We think it works just as well in the evening with a pair of chinos as it does open-buttoned on a beach.

1969 - ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE

It's 1969, and George Lazenby steps into the role of Bond in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969), joining forces with Tracy Di Vicenzo to defeat Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Linen Suit

Perhaps the most prized creation in our collection is the cream linen-cotton suit from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Bond wore it together with a light pink shirt in the scenes at the Portuguese hotel before meeting Countess Tracy di Vicenzo. In a design like the original, the tailored blazer features a two-button placket, twin flap pockets at the hip, and a single welt pocket on the chest for sunglasses, or perhaps a clever gadget. The matching trousers also boast a tailored fit while the flat front keeps the style modern.

1979 - MOONRAKER

Ten years on and Roger Moore’s Bond travels to the Amazon Rainforest to investigate a stolen space shuttle in Moonraker (1979).

Merino Half-Zip Pullover

While on a night mission which results in a sword fight with Drax’s henchman Chang, Bond pulls on a half-zip black shirt to help him hide in the shadows. Our version mimics the tailored fit of the original, but the nickel-effect zip and ribbed collar keep the piece sporty and the twelve-gauge Italian merino wool adds a luxurious touch.

1983 - OCTOPUSSY

Roger Moore’s Bond returns in Octopussy (1983), travelling to India to investigate a jewel-smuggling operation headed by the enigmatic Octopussy.

Harrington Jacket

During an assault on Kamal Khan’s palace in the film, Bond requires a practical jacket that is stylish enough for the job. We recreated the Midnight Blue Harrington Jacket worn in the scene using Portuguese cotton and a nickel-effect zip closure. Adjustable button cuffs and four front pockets in welt and flap designs bring a functional edge. Though practical, it’s also ideal for relaxed evenings at the beach bar when the temperature takes a dip.
